Semiconductors
Semiconductor startup funding for chip design and fabless teams: grant and DLI capital, venture rounds, and the diligence a chip investor runs.
A chip design company spends for years before it sells a part. Design tools, test silicon and the engineers who run them are paid for long before the first chip comes back, so the funding plan matters as much as the design.
India now pays for part of that. The Design Linked Incentive (DLI) scheme shares eligible design costs, and the India Semiconductor Mission backs the fabs and assembly plants that will want local suppliers. Many founders still meet investors before they understand either, and price the round without them.
We build the grant case and the venture case together, so scheme money and equity fit one plan. Then we run the diligence a chip investor will run, so questions on IP, foundry access and customer demand are answered before the meeting.

How we work in Semiconductors
What the engagement usually looks like
Grant and DLI applications
The scheme case for design-stage capital, built alongside the round rather than after it.
Venture rounds for chip teams
A raise sized to the design and test schedule, with investors who understand long cycles.
Investor diligence, done first
IP ownership, foundry access and customer evidence checked before an investor asks.
