    Growth Diagnostic

What's the right growth move for your business? Twelve questions, a scored readout, and the two or three questions that matter most for you right now.

    What it tells you

Most companies that ask where to grow next start in the middle: new geographies, new products, adjacent segments. The diagnostic starts at the base. It returns a scored readout of where your growth will come from, which of the eight questions bind for you now, and what to work on first.

It is built for businesses with something to analyse: a track record, a customer base, an engine that works. A funded scale-up and a promoter-led company answer the same twelve questions; what differs is which ones bind, and how much time there is to answer them.

Today we run it with you, so the readout arrives with the conversation rather than as a file. The online version will run on the founders portal, the way the Revenue and MIS Maturity Assessments do.

    The eight questions it sorts

    1. Diagnose Growth

Where does growth actually come from?

    2. Deepen the Core

Can we grow from what we already have?

    3. Replicate the Engine

Should we reproduce what we have built?

    4. Build Demand

How do we win it, at a cost that works?

    5. Choose the Route

      Build, buy or partner?

    6. Execute the Deal

If we are buying, which play are we actually running?

    7. Fund the Plan

Where does the capital come from, and in what order?

    8. Realise the Value

How does this end, and what is it worth when it does?

When it is the wrong tool

    • A company that has not found product-market fit: there is no base to diagnose.
    • A business in genuine distress: cash, creditors and cost come first.
    • A company that has already committed: if the land is bought and the loan drawn, the strategic question has been answered.
