Founder’s Corner
Capital Roadmap Diagnostic
Whether the impact and blended finance lane is open to you, and which instruments fit your stage.

What it does
The diagnostic runs the four gates that decide whether impact and blended capital is open to a business: theme, intentionality, additionality and measurability. Three of them you can answer from facts you already hold. The fourth you cannot, and the instrument is built around that honestly.
Additionality asks whether commercial money, left alone, would have served this segment anyway. That is a judgement about a counterfactual, and a founder cannot fairly make it about their own company: nobody has visibility into what the commercial market would have done, and everybody is motivated to answer yes. So the questions gather the signals and route the judgement to a conversation, rather than returning a verdict the evidence does not support.
Every question is behavioural or factual, with a checkable answer. There is nothing to flatter yourself on. The most useful one asks what the next money you raise is actually for, split into working capital, capex, expansion and proving something unproven, because most founders have never split a raise that way and it is what decides which instruments fit.
It is run with our team today, so the result arrives with the conversation rather than as a file. About fifteen minutes on the business is usually enough to say which lanes are open and which gate decides the rest.
What you get
The second lane — answered on your own numbers, not on a benchmark someone else published.
Which of the four gates your business clears today: theme, intentionality, additionality and measurability
Which layers of the capital stack are realistically available at your stage and sector
Which family of funder is the shortest credible route in, and which to leave alone
